What Are The Natural Resources?

In the library, Aliff is searching books for his assignment. But suddenly, he met his friend, Aziz. Following are the conversation between them.

Aliff : Hi Aziz..what are you doing right now?
Aziz : Hi Aliff. I am reading a newspaper.
Aliff : You look very concentrate. Any interesting news? If you don’t mind, can you share with me?
Aziz : Owh sure..I just read about natural resources.
Aliff : Natural resources? What is that?
Aziz : It can be defined as resources that are provided by the creator of the universe for the welfare and benefit of mankind.
Aliff : Can you state some examples of natural resources?
Aziz : The resources are divided into 2 categories which are biotic and abiotic. Biotic means living things such as forests, animals, birds, fish and other marine organisms. Minerals such as coal and petroleum are also included in this category because they were formed from decayed organic matter. While abiotic means non-living things such as land, water, air and minerals such as gold, iron, copper, silver and so forth.
Aliff : Owh..I see. All these are very important to our life, right?
Aziz : Yup..of course. All of them are contributes to economical sector in Malaysia. They are providing food, energy, and the need of human life. They complete our life.
Aliff : Now I understand a little bit. Ermm..I got to go because I have a class right now. Thanks for your information. I really appreciate it.
Aziz : You’re welcome. See you next time. Take care.
